I am an alumni of the...I am so glad you wrote this. I am an alumni of the University of Illinois and have watched this situation closely being part of the Big Ten community. I agree with what you have said about the students, alumni, and staff at Penn State. My only interaction with any Penn Staters was at an Illinois-Penn State football game several years ago. The fans that traveled to Champaign, a town with a University much like Happy Valley, were incredibly nice. I met many people who asked questions about Illini traditions and were truly wonderful to talk to. These are not the people who hurt those young boys or the ones that looked the other way. The ones that committed the crimes or did not protect those boys should be punished, but the students and alumni should not be put in that category.
