I have to make a conscious effort to get my hips back before I dip, otherwise I dip with my knees too far forward..... it also helps get a little extra momentum... :P Yes, I am a cheater cheater pumpkin eater... :PKatiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00526466324237785391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977007359627193869.post-49646200785309041752008-10-22T10:04:00.000-04:002008-10-22T10:04:00.000-04:00Nice job. I wasn't sure if you were doing that as a reminder to get your hips under the bar or what.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07131553189599373269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977007359627193869.post-72738503052327902892008-10-22T05:48:00.000-04:002008-10-22T05:48:00.000-04:00Tami, that's a very nice comment although I'm not ...Tami, that's a very nice comment although I'm not sure I'm 100% deserving... doing 115 sounded like a really good idea at the time... I'm still not really 100% sure that it was... :P

I have to say though... Jerry's video made me laugh, and it was pretty nice to be able to see an entire workout... I realized that I move a LOT when I reset and I have certain "stall" tactics that now that I've seen a whole workout, I caught... oops!

I loved hitting this workout though... it wasn't fun, but it was fun... obviously as you can tell from the end of the video which is about a minute of me dying... :PKatiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00526466324237785391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977007359627193869.post-86749229448069682862008-10-21T23:09:00.000-04:002008-10-21T23:09:00.000-04:00OK, when I saw that you did 110 pounds I was blown...OK, when I saw that you did 110 pounds I was blown away. Then when I saw you did it from the hang I was COMPLETELY blown away. That.is.awesome.

You're totally my hero now. It used to be Nicole and Annie. Bah! We do most things from the hang and we've never really spent a lot of time pulling from the floor. I know it makes me do more work because I have to stop and then redirect, but my form from the floor isn't perfect so better to be safe than sorry... besides... if I can do it like that... when I get the pull from the floor... I'll be wicked awesome... :)Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00526466324237785391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977007359627193869.post-27976029889175852452008-10-21T22:46:00.000-04:002008-10-21T22:46:00.000-04:00Okay, so I wrote that comment and then went and wa...Okay, so I wrote that comment and then went and watched the video. I was sort of right, you did scale up. 115 - WAY TO GO KATIE! That's impressive - more than they did at the games (100). I am wondering why you deadlift it and then hang power clean, instead of power cleaning right from the floor? I love it when you drop the weight and it shakes the camera!Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13932443030011539440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977007359627193869.post-79875945044640704942008-10-21T22:32:00.000-04:002008-10-21T22:32:00.000-04:00My guess is that you did more than 85lbs for Grace...My guess is that you did more than 85lbs for Grace.
