Grace... is my middle name...

So, it was Isabel, Cindy, and now Grace... you'll have to wait for the details... but I'll give you a little taste...

I did not do prescribed weight (85lbs) for Grace.... now you ponder what that means until later... :P

You know, I'm not going to have time to write out all the sordid details before work tonight... so... just watch the video instead... the embed is being silly... so just go here... it's the top video... THEN.....

Jerry caught a little bit of Isabel on film the other day... I thought he was taking pictures... eh... oh well.... :P You can watch that video too if you want... :)It's the second one... :)

Yes - I'm a dork.

Yes - It is way too easy to make me happy.

But I smile a lot!

My guess is that you did more than 85lbs for Grace. We do Grace with 95lbs for women Rx. Am I right?! ;)

Okay, so I wrote that comment and then went and watched the video. I was sort of right, you did scale up. 115 - WAY TO GO KATIE! That's impressive - more than they did at the games (100). I am wondering why you deadlift it and then hang power clean, instead of power cleaning right from the floor? I love it when you drop the weight and it shakes the camera!

Robin, I'm not comfortable pulling from the floor. We do most things from the hang and we've never really spent a lot of time pulling from the floor. I know it makes me do more work because I have to stop and then redirect, but my form from the floor isn't perfect so better to be safe than sorry... besides... if I can do it like that... when I get the pull from the floor... I'll be wicked awesome... :)

OK, when I saw that you did 110 pounds I was blown away. Then when I saw you did it from the hang I was COMPLETELY blown away. That.is.awesome.

You're totally my hero now. It used to be Nicole and Annie. Bah! Now it's Katie.

Tami, that's a very nice comment although I'm not sure I'm 100% deserving... doing 115 sounded like a really good idea at the time... I'm still not really 100% sure that it was... :P

I have to say though... Jerry's video made me laugh, and it was pretty nice to be able to see an entire workout... I realized that I move a LOT when I reset and I have certain "stall" tactics that now that I've seen a whole workout, I caught... oops!

I loved hitting this workout though... it wasn't fun, but it was fun... obviously as you can tell from the end of the video which is about a minute of me dying... :P

Nice job. Before reading the comments here, I noticed that you had a lot of extra hip movement before you clean the bar. I wasn't sure if you were doing that as a reminder to get your hips under the bar or what.

Actually, it's a reminder to get my hips out of the way. I have to make a conscious effort to get my hips back before I dip, otherwise I dip with my knees too far forward..... it also helps get a little extra momentum... :P Yes, I am a cheater cheater pumpkin eater... :P
