WOOOOOOOT!

I will create an aptly stimulating and exciting blog shortly, however, my excitement about today's workout is bursting out... and I can't wait to write a whole long thing... so this will be brief... I AM NOW A MEMBER OF THE 20 CHINS CLUB!!!!!! WOOT! WOOT! WOOT! (Picture me dancing around my bedroom and not caring that I'm going to be late to work since it's also my LAST CONTRACT DAY!!!!! WOOT! WOOT! WOOT!) I am not sure if this day can get better... :)

Sweet. I don't know if I could do 20 chins anymore. I did a few months ago when I was around 173 pounds but I think I've added a few pounds (180 now) without really concentrating on the pull-ups. A couple of extra pounds has a huge effect on the number of pull-ups one can do.

Congratulations.

Cool :)

Now, since you're in league with Brad, I'll dare put this here too

Thanks Angela! I don't think you should hold your breath on the muscle up club though... that's going to be a while...

Splint, you're a haus! I bet you could easily do 30. But you are right... I didn't break my 11 chins until the Zone kicked in. Extra weight on a bar makes a big difference...

Lars, it's more like Brad is in leagues with me... ;) If you dare leave a blog, you best be prepared for some insights by me on a daily basis... ;) Joking aside, thanks for the site. I'm I'll drop by soon, as will some of my other friends! :) Get off your butt and put in the work already! ;)

Wooo that is worthy PR if I every heard one. Congrats!

Lars - do you think she's referring to water depth there?

We are all obviously ready to cheer you on.

Katie - your attitude ROCKS!

Splint - I agree about the bodyweight. I am seeing the pullups get a bit easier due to my weight-loss (27lbs since April 5)

Thanks Katie, and as I said, all suggestions and insights will be treated with the utmost suspicion :)

Brad, I have *no* idea about water, I'm a mountains kinda guy.

Splint: Definately agree about the bodyweight/pullups. I still can't do many, but more than 10Kgs ago!

Brad, Darcy, and Lars, thanks for the nice words.

I wasn't referring to water depth Brad, although that does give me an interesting idea for a new workout.... ;)

Congrats, that is definitely a reason to celebrate. I would also have to agree with the weight/pull-up ratio as I went from 178 to 185 while off from an injury.

I could still work upper body but had a severe ankle sprain that put me off any cardio for 4 months. Even with constant training I couldn’t pull a lot. Now back down to 175-177 I am able to pull out many, many more. Great site Katie.

Forts, thanks for dropping by! I'm glad you like the site.

Jerry... daaaaaaaannnnggg.. yup, it's 20 now. :) I'm stoked. I'm thinkin about getting back on the bar Sunday when I get back to CFOT and challenging the 20. I think I had a few more in me, but I was so stoked about 20 I just kind of dropped off the bar. :) whoops! :)
