A small request...

So the cool thing about the little Feedjit thingie is that I can see you. Hehehe.... ok so that sounds kinda creepy, but I can. It tells me where people are who are reading my blog. I have noticed that the same cities/towns show up a lot, so that tells me that there are people who have become daily readers or at least regular. Yay for daily readers! A lot of you thought don't post comments, so I have no idea who you are. So, here's a compromise since you don't like commenting. If you are a daily reader, or even a semi-regular reader, and you have a blog, send me the link. I'd love to post you up under the "Friends of the Kult" section on my blog. You can leave it in my comments, or you can use the email link on the side of my page. I've noticed that there are a few regular hits from Boston, Canada, Redwood, North Carolina, Greenville, and a few that I can't remember from Tennessee and Kansas. I love to make new friends, so don't be a stranger! :) I'd love to add you!

Hey there. I subscribed to your feed using Bloglines, so you probably see me from Brooklyn - I'm a member at the Black Box.

I have a Crossfit blog too:

http://runningdownadream-avery.blogspot.com/

Your enthusiasm for Crossfit is infectious. Keep up the good work.

Katie- Be careful when reading Avery's blog... you will suddenly get a deep hunger for yummy cake. I have never seen cake creations like hers! Hope you are having a great weekend. Good luck getting you secret readers to come out of the closet. :)

Avery! Thanks for dropping by! The Black Box? Excuse me a moment... sorry... I had to wipe the drool from my chin. I'm insanely jealous of your new facility. Lots of square footage and a garage door. OOOh! :) I actually can't see feeds so thanks for letting me know! I'm stoked that you're a daily reader. It makes me feel good to know that people enjoy what I'm reading. I'll def be sure to add you to my list of Kult friends! :)

Kim- Thanks for the tip... I will be sure to look only after eating, or when there are padlocks on all the cabinets. :)

I wouldn't drool too soon! We are still working out in a semi-uninhabitable garage sans electricity, running water, and air conditioning. It's a real gem.

On the bright side, we can drop weights (finally!) without worrying about the floor beneath us crashing in. Gotta look for the positives in NYC.

However, I do worry I might get asbestos poisoning or a skin rash from the place.

Katie said...

Well Avery, when you put it that way... LOL. Yay for dropping weights though. Sometimes you just need to get rid of it. I don't know how you survived without being able to. We can't drop the KB but when it counts and when we need to we can drop the bar. It's very helpful if you get in trouble, which on ocassion my genius self does because I do dumb things.... :P

As for the asbestos, ah, well... what can I say? All for the love of CF and Pukie! :) So what's a little asbestos compared to that? ;)

good call Katie.. I always wonder about the undercover blog readers.. you know I'm an avid reader. keep it up. Missed you this morning. I sweated my hypothetical balls off!

Katie said...

Adrienne, I tore open my hand yesterday in the middle of the Trevor workout. Plus after 7 straight days, I needed a rest day. :P I was pooped after all those squats, push ups, sit ups and chins. I miss you guys though! I hate not getting in! :(

I do wonder about my mystery readers... I will continue to pull them out of the closet... ;)

Katie said...

Adrienne, btw, I heart you for reading me all the time! :)

Hey, I don't remember where I found your blog, but I do read it daily, have it subscribed in my Google Reader.

I run a Women's Rugby Blog at Your Scrumhalf Connection and I love Crossfit! I like to make up my own workouts, but I don't do straight crossfit.

Thanks for blogging!

Hey Wendy! Thanks for dropping by! Awesome blog btw. I just have to tell you, unbeknowst to many, I actually enjoy watching rubgy a lot. Long story there, dated a rugger for a short stint... he left... my love of the sport didn't. :) Mad props cause I know the game is hardcore! Do you feel CrossFit has improved your rugby game? I'm trying to get same said dude to CrossFit. He thinks I've lost my mind. I told him it's the best way to be the best on the field. He still won't listen. One of my favorite tees is a rugby shirt with a pirate that says "ARG! Go ruck yourself!" :) Awesome! I'd love to add you! Keep up all the hard work! Congrats on your selection! :)
